1st Anniversary Launch Tempura Island

Hi, This is aqua.
Tempura Island is now celebrating the first anniversary.
It has been an eventful year to look back on, both in SL and RL.
Also I think it was a very fruitful year for my own experience.

The subprime loan caused the banking crisis, and triggered a global recession.
There should be many people suffering a recession at this time.

I think persons who can attend the Second life with the situation could have the luxury with a certain level.
I feel that my friends in the SL are clearly in that level.
So, one of the value of Tempura Island is to contact persons who cannot see normally.

I strongly felt that through my one year.

I think that the technical part of the Second Life is still under development. But considering the increase of circulation of Linden dollars, the persons who can find a possibility of the allurement might be increasing.

Most of the currency in circulation at Tempura Island is based on donation. The daily donated Linden dollars are mainly contributed to welfare activities. Again I express an acknowledgement for your donation.

In the Tempura Island, there are guests from as much as 50 countries and areas, which is one of the largest affinities here.
When Russian or Portuguese is seen in chat, I, a Quarter-Breed grown up in Japan, felt away from the daily lives, and have been healed in that part by Tempura Island.



One of my friends in SL can speak seven languages. According to her, when someone starts learning foreign languages, there are few people picks up Japanese. There are more persons around her who prefer Arabic to Japanese to study. Japanese is a hard language to understand. So there is an invisible wall that makes it more difficult to understand Japan, and vice versa.

But, Tempura is a narrow sample of SIMs through that the hard-to-understand culture was accepted worldwide. I wish I could continue to connect the world, to heal your mind, and to continue managing of this SIM.

アクアです。
Tempura Islandは1周年を迎えました。
振り返れば様々な出来事が、SL、RLで起こり、
私自身の経験としても有益なものになったと思います。

サブプライムから金融破危機が引き金となり、
世界同時不況が発生しました。
今現在も不況下で苦しむ皆様は多くいらっしゃるはずです。

その中でSecondLifeに参加できる人たちは、
ある程度の余裕をお持ちの方と思います。

僕のSLでの友人達も、
明らかにそのレベルにある人たちのように感じます。
ですから普段では会えないであろう人々との接触が
ここTempura Islandの一つの価値です。
1年を通じて強く思うようになりました。

SecondLifeの技術的な部分はまだまだ未発達と思いますが、
流通リンデンの増加を考えると、
その魅力に可能性を見出す人は増えているかもしれません。

Tempura Islandではリンデン＄の流通の殆どはドネーションによるものです。
日々寄付されるリンデン＄は主に福祉活動へ寄付されています。
皆様からの寄付に改めてお礼を申し上げます。

Tempura Islandでは50か国に及ぶ国と地域からゲストがいらっしゃいます。
それが大きな魅力の一つです。
ロシア語やポルトガル語がChatチャネルに流れる時、
非日常を感じ、日本で育ったQuarter-Breedの私にとって、
この部分でもTempura Islandによって癒されてきました。

SLの友人に７か国語出来る方がいます。
彼女の話によると、言語を習得する時、
日本語を選択する人はごく一部で、
日本語を覚えるのなら、アラビア語を選ぶ人が彼女の周りでは多いそうです。
日本語は難解です。ですから見えない壁があり、
日本の理解をさらに難しくしています。その逆もあるのです。

しかしTempruaではその難解な文化が世界に受け入れられた
数少ないSIMです。
これからも世界を繋ぎ、皆様の心を癒し、
このSIMの運営を続けていくことができるよう願っております。

Shared memory

It is said that everyone feels nostalgia when visiting Tempura. Why?
It could be explained verbally that the reason is coexistence of Renaissance and Mandara.

So, is it enough to have Renaissance or Mandara to let everyone feel nostalgia?
I think that there is an answer at the deep within one’s mind.

Why does a person fall in love? What happens at that time in one’s mind?
I believe one theory. It says that, one can be sensible of similarity between the lover and one’s family at the deep within one’s mind.
I feel that the similar situation is observed in Tempura.

The palace, the forest, and the corridor, all of them would have existed somewhere in one’s mind, and they bring up nostalgic feeling when they appear in front of you. Surely there are a lot of castles and palaces around the European guests, but Tempura is now getting access from all over the world.



One of my friends in the real life said.
“If you travel around the world, you will see that the human minds are all the same.”
The evidence that he felt a kindness in every country he traveled.
The same memory and the same mind, even though the race is different.

Kikunosuke might have built a creation, Tempura, that touches the common memory of the human.

誰もがTempuraに来れば郷愁を感じるといいます。なぜでしょう？
言葉ではルネッサンスと曼荼羅が融合しているからと説明できます。

では、ルネッサンスなら、曼荼羅であれば、
誰もが郷愁を感じるのでしょうか？

僕はもっと深い心の底に答えがあるのではないかと思います。

人はなぜ恋に落ちるのでしょう？
その時、何が心の中で起こっているのでしょうか。
一つの説を僕は信じています。
それは、恋人が家族に似ている事を心の底で感じ取っているからだそうです。

同じような事がTempuraでも起こっているように感じます。



宮殿も森も回廊も、全て心のどこかの記憶にあり、
目の前に現れると懐かしく思い出す。
確かにヨーロッパの方は身近にお城や宮殿が多くあります。
しかし、Tempuraは世界中からアクセスされています。

僕のRLの友人は言います。
「世界中を旅すると、人の心は同じなんだとわかるよ。」と、
どこの国に行っても優しさに触れてきた証拠。

人種が違っても、同じ心に同じ記憶。

Kikunosukeは共通する人の記憶に触れる、
創造物Tempuraを作ってしまったのかもしれません。

Affair to Remember "Tempura isle"

Everything happens as an aleatory, and is considered to be corollary later.

I cannot give away myself.
Also I cannot reveal whether I am involved in TEMPURA, or the role in it.
If it were told, I should leave the SecondLife.
In the real life, I reside in a huge conglomerate, and cover a lot of ground.
My name is Aqua Farina.



At the very beginning, I installed a viewer to study if there is a way to utilize the SecondLife in the business.
But within a few days, it was judged that it is hard to use the ScondLife in the business.
At that time, I found no reason for investment, and did some short time research for any possibility.

At the time, there were few sites in Japanese language, and we have to sign up in the US one. The investment to the virtual space got active later.

I found one fact through the research.
The concepts of values in the SecondLife exist as many as the number of avatars.
It seems that the people who create SIMs and business by finding a common concept of values can get high access.

At near the end of research in the SecondLife, I noticed Tempura ISLAND clipped on the Picks of my friend.
The first impression when I made an access to Tempura was “organized”.
A mode can be felt at very few SIMs, and it takes too much time to get the picture of them.

Since I am not a right-brain-derived person, I am poor at spatial reasoning capacity.
Normal person seems to feel an image through the left field, but I might be calculating whole things using the right field image. So my comments will not be typical.

It should be a simplicity that filled in gaps of my poor special awareness instantly.
It had also strength and beauty, and I felt that there was a calculated tactical light.

Incidentally I struck up an acquaintance with the managing stuff on the first day of the access, and I felt an aura of pursuing an art and glimpses of benignity to save human， that is not for the business.

I am a Japanese, but do not like Japan too much.
But I am considering a feeling of wishing broadcast Japan to the world as same as the real life. At that spot, there was a meeting with Tempura, and I felt it could be a challenge to keep and broadcast a character that is not globalized at this SIM.

One of my jobs in the real life is to consider organizations and strategies.
I was tired of the social life that was bound by the rationalism, but I believe that it was a meeting with this SIM that changed my interpretation of the world and then caused changes now.

Generally this SIM is evaluated with its beauty.
But for me, it is a process to form the philosophy and sensitivity through the process of birth.
How is the governance done for the maintenance? It excites my interest. A number of activities go synchronized.
I am neither a person of region nor a physical scientist, but it seems there are Taoism and a quantum theory with a synchronicity.

Ladies and gentlemen, please experience this precious SIM.
It gives you an experience, and guides you to the tomorrow.
This SIM changes continuously. Hurry up!

すべては偶然から始まり、その後、必然と思えるようになるのです。

私は正体を明かす事ができません。
てんぷらに関わり、役割は何なのかも話せません。
もし明かされた場合はSecondLifeから去らなければならなくなります。
リアルライフに於いては、ある巨大コングロマリットに在籍し、
仕事の内容は多岐にわたっております。
名はAqua Farinaと申します。

すべての始まりはSecond Lifeをビジネスに活用出来ないかと
検討する為、SecondLifeビューアーをインストールした時。

しかし、SecondLifeをビジネスに利用するのは厳しいと、
数日のうちに判断してしまいます。
現時点では投資する必要性をまったく感じられなかった。
そして後は可能性を探る短期間のリサーチ作業を行いました。

当時は日本語サイトなど無く、
USサイトでサインアップするような時期でした。
その後にヴァーチャルスペースへの投資が盛んになるのです。

リサーチに出向きながら、一つの事実を発見しました。
SecondLifeでの価値観はアヴァターの数だけあります。
共通の価値観を見出して、
ビジネスする人、SIMを作る人たちが、
高アクセスを獲得しているように感じられます。

SecondLifeでのリサーチ作業が終わりかける頃、
友人アヴァターのPicksにクリップされた、
Tempura ISLANDが気になりました。
初めて、てんぷらへアクセスをした時の印象は、
「整理されている」ということです。
他のシムでは、モードを感じられるものは少なく、
また、配置をつかむのに時間がかかるものばかり。

僕は右脳的人間ではない為、空間の把握が出来ないのです。
通常の人間は左視野のイメージを強く感じますが、
私は右視野のイメージをもって、全体を計算するようです。
ですから、僕の意見は典型ではありません。

僕の弱い空間認識力を一瞬にしてカバーしてくれたのは、
シンプルであるということです。
そしてそれは、強さと美しさをもっており、
計算された光がそこにはあると感じさせられました。

偶然にも初めてのアクセスの日に管理スタッフの方と知り合いになり、
ビジネスベースではない、芸術を追求するオーラと、
人を救おうとする、慈悲が見え隠れするのを感じ取りました。

僕は日本人でありながら、日本をあまり好きではありません。
しかし、日本を世界へ発信していきたい気持ちは、
リアル社会と同様に考えているところなのです。
そこにてんぷらとの出会いがあり、グローバリゼーションされない個性を
ここのSIMで維持、発信できるのは、一つのチャレンジなのかと感じました。

僕はリアル社会において、組織、戦略を考えることも仕事の一つです。
そこでは合理主義で固められた社会生活にうんざりでしたが、
リアル社会での世界観を考えさせられ、
そして今、変化が起きているのは、
きっとこのSIMに出会ったからだと確信しています。

一般的にはこのSIMは美しさで評価されています。
しかし、僕にとってはその生まれる過程での哲学や、
感性が形成されていく過程。
維持のため、ガバナンスをどう行っているのか興味がつきません。
複数の行為が同時進行しています。

僕は宗教家でもなければ、物理学者でもありませんが、
ここにはタオイズムと量子力学が共時的に存在しているようです。

皆さん、この貴重なSIMを体験し下さい。
それは経験となり、明日のあなたへ導かれるでしょう。
ここは常に変化します。さぁ急いで。
