To my dear Tempura,

Tempura is a sacred place that embraces God in the land. chikae and kikunosuke made Tempura 11 years ago. It was a place to pray for my ancestors. And Tempura has become a social gathering place for friends from all over the world.

Many people have come back repeatedly, Tempura as their hometown.
Love, peace and healing. There is no more comfort for people. As long as this world continues, Tempura believes that it is God's will to exist. The cost of maintaining Tempura is managed by sales of Mandala jewelry.
The goodness of the sense of taste of the owner Kikunosuke who designed the Tempura is reflected in the jewelry of Mandala, neither Tempura nor Mandala. ,, And lastly, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the tempura family, including Polly. I love the people of the world and my family.

I made fun other day saying how our Tempura is entering puberty period: )

11 Years of existing is really so much time, specially when we speak of SL time terms. I am honored and thankful that Tempura still last and keep been pure and amazing same as always.  There is no person that haven't heard about Tempura, the legend and constant of SL world. I can freely say about MANDALA too, that keeps Tempura alive.
Time is dynamic and changing, we change too, our lifes change but Tempura is always steady and beautiful.
We have faced many good and bad times here, but good once will always remain to hold dearly in our memories.
I want to thank to Kiku and Chikae, to Danko who is helping me always and to all dear friends and Tempura visitors, to the guests who leave so beautiful comments and greetings to Tempura, god bless you all!

先日、私たちの天ぷらが思春期に入っている様子を話して楽しんだ。特に私たちがSLの時間について話すとき、既存の11年は本当に長い長い時間です。 天ぷらがこれからも長く存続して、いつものように純粋で素晴らしい場所を提供してくれるでしょう。 SLの世界の伝説であり心の故郷である天ぷらについて聞いたことがない人はいません。 私はMANDALAについてもすべてを語ることができます。天ぷらの維持費はMANDALAの売り上げによって賄われているからです。時間は刻々と変化していきます。私たちの思想は変化し、私たちのRL生活は変化しますが、天ぷらは常に安定して存在して、その美しさは変わりません。私たちはここで多くの善と悪の時代に直面してきましたが、善の時代は常に私たちの記憶に心に残っていくでしょう。

Tempura was the First Place I visited in SL, many years ago. And the reason was that before keep contact with what was Second Life i already knew about Tempura. Friends of mine were in love with this magical and poetical place in SL.

The same happened to me. For years I was walking in the magical woods of Tempura and even before I began to take pics I did a lot of snapshots of the flowers in Tempura, the mountains, the Temple... And was enough for me to go to Tempura to have a relaxed and beautiful time. No other sim produces on me such effect.

Mandala is the top of the cake and  have been from the beggining till nowadays the most beautiful store of jewels. True ones. And I can't not mention the owner of Tempura and Mandala a true gentleman and a wonderful person. And I found also in Tempura another jewell called Polly. She is the sweetest Friend I count on the worst times of my life. And the most intelligent and Beautiful Host Tempura could have.

For all I Want to thank and wish from my heart that Tempura, Mandala and the persons I love have many more years of beauty, peace and warm friendship.


何年も前に、天ぷらはSLで私が訪れた最初の場所でした。そしてその理由は、Second Lifeの中で天ぷらはすでに知られていたからです。私の友達はSLのこの魔法のような詩的な場所に恋をしていました。
同じことが私にも起こりました。何年もの間私は天ぷらの魔法の森の中を歩き回っていました、そして私が写真を撮り始める前でさえ私は天ぷらの、山、寺院の花のスナップショットの多くを撮りました…リラックスした美しい時間。他のシムは私にそのような効果を生み出さない。

そしてジュエリーのマンダラは、ケーキのトップであり、今日まで宝石の最も美しい店から始まっています。本当のものそして私は天ぷらと曼荼羅の所有者が真の紳士であり、素晴らしい人であると思います。そして私は天ぷらでもポリーと呼ばれる別の宝石を見つけました。彼女は私の人生で最悪の時を頼りにしている最も甘い友人です。そして最も知的で美しいホスト天ぷらが持つことができました。

Like an image passing by, I can still see me coming here as a newbie and running through the bridge to reach my favorite tai chi spot.  I used to visit this sim every day, I was amazed by the beautiful avatars and the kindness of this family. So many friends I met here and some of them will be always part of my life. In my mind, I see us having fun at the entrance spot during the long nights or dancing all night in the beautiful ballroom or trying the amazing jewelry that Kiku, the owner of Tempura, creates (Mandala)..  It's the only place where I feel at home.
My only message in this time of celebration is:
Let's bring love, let's bring this remedy so we can cheers up our hearts. For the pain, for the headaches there is nothing better than the rhythm and the beauty of Tempura. Forget your fears and your sorrows cause time flies.

Tempura celebrates its 11th anniversary.
It has been here for 11 years and continues to give healing to the people of the world every day. It is a rare thing in SL and it probably won't change. As long as SL exists. Kikunosuke and Chikae created Tempura to heal the tired mind and body in RL and to pray for Buddha and to honor the ancestors. It will not change tomorrow. However, 11 years have been so long, the positions and times to Chikae and Kikunosuke's RL have changed, and there are many busy days. Especially Chikae is sorry for not having time to upload blog of tempura avatars. Still there are fun happenings. I asked the people who love Tempura and have connection for comment of the 11th anniversary. All comments from Tempura friends and family will be posted. Please enjoy it.

Hurray the first milestone in the second decade of the existence of our beautiful Tempura is reached: already the 11th birthday!!!

This last year i couldn't visit Tempura for a long period, but i returned again recently and i was happy that although all is streaming like a river in this world, as the Greeks told us long ago, Tempura stays just like stagnant water, always the same beauty, never changing.
Tempura is still the place in Secondlife where people can meet peacefully, where they have time for themselves doing tai chi or meditation and where they can dance, chat and love each other. It is a magical place, where you can make lovely friends and i am very happy that i found a couple of them , who are my best friends already for a long time. A special thanks to Kikunosuke, Chikae and Polly, who made this all possible and already so long. I wish everybody, staff and visitors,  a lovely and inspiring birthday on the 25th of may.

私たちの美しい天ぷらの存在の20年ぶりの最初のマイルストーンが達成されます。すでに11歳の誕生日！
昨年、私は長い間天ぷらを訪れることができなかったが、私は最近また戻ってきた、そしてギリシャ人が私たちにずっと前に言ったように、すべてがこの世の川のように流れているが 常に同じ美しさ、決して変わらない。

TEMPURA 10 Years Anniversary!

Tempura is finally marking its 10th anniversary on May 25th.

Kikunosuke and I joined SL for our job and were attracted by its fascination.
In the Tempura information note I wrote 10 years ago, it says that 4 artists created Tempura together.  But, actually, it was only the two of us, Kikunosuke and I.
Kikunosuke designed Tempura in one night as if he got an idea from God.
Kikunosuke handled the artistic part and I was in charge of the management of Tempura.
Although we were uneasy about it just being two of us, the traffic numbers increased dramatically, and we encountered escellent friends from all over the world.
They were brought by the god of Tempura to be Tempura family members.
Kikunosuke and I are always deeply grateful for them.

We got messages for the 10th anniversary from our guests and family members.  Please enjoy.

５月２５日天ぷらはついに１０周年を迎えました。

kikunosukeと私は、取材の仕事でslに入りその魅力に取りつかれました。

１０年前に私が書いた天ぷらのインフォメーションには、４人の芸術家が共同で天ぷらを創造したとありますが

実は私とkikunosukeの二人だけで作り上たのです。天啓を受けて１夜で天ぷらの設計図を描いたのは実

はkikunosukeでした。彼は芸術面を、私は営業面を担当してなんとか天ぷらを作り上げました。

二人だけで不安な中でトラフイックはうなぎのぼり。そして次第に優秀なスタッフが世界中から集まってきてくれました。

彼らは天ぷらの神に呼ばれてきたのちに「家族」になる人たちでした。私とkikunosukeは彼らには心より感謝をささげています。

家族とゲストに天ぷらについて書いていただきましょう。

Ten years! It's been an incredible time.

A decade is a long time. Few things in our lives or in the world last that long specially in second life.  I'm honored and humbled to be part of Tempura for all that time.
Kiku and Chikae, Thank you for the ten remarkable years of warmth, friendship, and support. To me personally Tempura is blessing and affected my life so much good and I believe to many people that visited and stay here for some time.
Everything change, its something that is inevitable, time move, people change, but I am glad that Tempura is always steady and so strong. These ten years have been incredible, even today I feel everything is a dream but I see Tempura, their people, me, and it's as real as a dream come true. Reading all guests greetings bring me tear in my eyes for all the love and care people feel for Tempura
I wish to thank to all costumers of Mandala who were supportive, all of you have a special place in Tempura.

10年です！信じられない時でした。
10年と言えば、長い時間です。人生においても世界でも、特にSLの中では、それだけ長く続く物事は多くはありません。その間ずっと、テンプラに関わっていられた事を誇りに思うと共に、身が引き締まる思いです。
Kiku、Chikae、この素晴らしい10年もの間の、あなた方の優しさ、友情、そしてサポートに心から感謝します。
私にとって個人的に、テンプラは神からの恵みであり、私の人生に非常に良い影響を与えてくれました。そして、テンプラに時おり訪れ、滞在している全ての人々にも同じ事が言えると信じています。
全ての物事は変化します。避けられない事です。時は移り、人々も変わります。ですが、テンプラはいつも変わらず、揺ぎ無い強さを持っています。この10年間、今日ですら、ずっと素晴らしいものでした。全ては夢の様に感じますが、テンプラも、そこに居る人々も、私も、夢が叶った様に現実のものなのです。ゲストの方々からのメッセージを読んでいると、皆さまからのテンプラへの愛と思いやりに、目から涙が溢れてきます。
Mandalaを支援してくださり、お客様にも心から感謝しています。皆さま、テンプラにも特別な場所を持っている事でしょう。
この数年間、私は多くの事を学び、テンプラが私に美しい人々と出会う機会を与えてくれた事に感謝しています。そしてテンプラには素晴らしく、そして善良なオーラが満ちていると言えるでしょう。

It is said that a Japanese lord bought the land for his lady, wanting to build them a place that was perfect and loving.  He worked on it for years perfecting every little detail, but tragedy fell, and he lost his love. He was heartbroken and vowed to destroy it all... how could he be here without her? Friends convinced him to save it and finish it and open it for others to experience with their own loves or when love had been lost to them and so he completed it so others could find peace and serenity, and that is his gift to all of us, all in the memory of his love.

This is a beautiful story (author unknown) shared to me years ago of how and why our so beloved Tempura Island was created, our own Second Life monument of love just like the Taj Mahal. Fact or fiction, who knows, still the story sounds perfect for this place.  Tempura is the most magical place in Second Life where most of us have buried our roots deep in its heart, for it is our home.  This is where beautiful friendships and memories are created and the sweetest of loves can be discovered, as I've found with my Steppenwolf Crescendo.  There is love, kindness, and peace that can be experienced in every corner of this beautiful island.  This is just a small testament to what our beautiful Tempura really is.

日本の神が、愛しい人のため、完全で愛のある場所を作ることを望み、土地を手に入れました。全ての詳細に至るまで完璧に創り上げるために時間を費やしました。しかし悲劇が舞い降ります。彼は愛する人を失ってしまったのです。彼は傷つき、全てを破壊する事を誓いました。愛する人のいないこの地にいる事は出来なかったのです。友人たちが、この地を維持し、完成させ、愛し合う人たちや傷ついた人たちのために解放する事を説得しました。そして彼はこの地を完成させ、人々は平和と静けさにこの地で出会う事が出来たのです。それは私たち全ての人々への、彼からのギフトであり、彼の愛の記憶なのです。

これは数年前に聞いた、長きに渡り愛され、タージマハルの様に私たちのSLでの愛の遺跡であるテンプラが何故生まれたかについての美しいお話です。作者は知りません。
事実なのか物語なのかは分かりませんが、この地にふさわしいストーリーの様に思えます。テンプラは、多くの人たちが自分たちの本質をその懐に深く沈みこませているSLの中で、最も魅力的な場所なのです。

ここは美しい友情と思い出ができ、私がSteppenwolf Crescendoと出会えた様に、素晴らしい愛と出会える場所なのです。愛、優しさ、平和が存在し、それはこの島のいたるところで感じることが出来ます。
これは、私たちの美しいテンプラが、実際どんな場所なのかの小さな証です。

Ten years ago, I met Chikae at Dela's shop,then she taught me about Tempura.
It's been 10 years since I came to Tempura! It really is time for time to pass.

However, Tempura always greets me warmly without fading forever.
I am too busy now to be able to enter in SL, and after a while and time off SL when we have time to get in and think where to go, I always first think it is Tempura!

Many years ago there was a wave of new and exciting additions to Second Life, the introduction of sculpts had given us a gift of people that had dreams and exciting imaginations for a world that could be not only beautiful but filled with soul. 

I remember landing the first time at Tempura, and marveling in its majesty, feeling as though I had entered a storybook that was yet to be read, and delighting in not only the intricacies of the setting but also its ambiance.

It was not filled to the brim with things, it was its own thing, and it was remarkable.
Every so often I go on a little visit, and it is exactly as presented, it is not a place you have to venture long and laboriously through, it just envelops you and gives you what you need.
I feel that we have accepted this gift as intended many many times over and I not only congratulate  Kikunosuke,  Chikae  and Polly, but thank them from the bottom of my heart for such a blessing as Tempura, and what it has meant to the community of Second Life this many years.

Happy Anniversary to everyone that is a visitor now, has been in the past or plans to be in the future, you will always be welcome, and that is such a gift they gave us, I want to deserve it every day.

数年前、SLに新しく刺激的な機能の追加の波がありました。スカルプの導入です。そして、それは、みんなが夢に描き想像に掻き立てられていた、美しいだけでなく魂を与えられたかの様な世界を作り上げるために、私たちに与えられた贈り物でした。
テンプラに初めて降り立った時、その荘厳さに驚愕し、まだ読まれた事の無い物語の本の中に入ったような感覚に見舞われ、複雑に創りこまれた物だけでなく、その雰囲気に歓喜した事を覚えたことを覚えています。（SIMに）物が溢れているという事ではなく、それ自体が1つの作品になっていたのです。これは驚くべきことでした。


時おり、私はつかの間の訪問を続けました。そして、そこは紹介通り、苦労して長く歩き回る所ではなく、あなたを包み込み、あなたに必要な事を与えてくれる場所でした。何度も欲しかった贈り物を受け取った気がします。
そしてKikunosuke、Chikae、そしてPollyにお祝いをするだけでなく、心の底から、テンプラの恩恵と、長年、SLのコミュニティで果たして来た役割にお礼を申し上げたいと思います。

No one can take those happy memories away from us. All are memorable and equally ingrained in our hearts.

Tempura exist on the 25th of May already a whole decade, really fantastic. Thank you all for making it possible that i can this enjoy already so long a time, Kikunosuke, Chikae, Polly, active and gone assistants and especially all the visitors. Without you there was no Tempura.
I found a nice poem that reminds me of Tempura’s essence. It is of Emily Dickinson:

"Once upon a time, there was a stunningly beautiful island called Tempura."

Thousands of SL people had written their one and only story here in Tempura.
Some came to heal their broken hearts, some came to share their love.
Some had happy endings and poor other had sad ones.
Even now, every day and night, people are weaving their own stories here.

Times change and we change with them.
A decade has passed and so has my SL life.
So much had changed and gone.....
But, Tempura, always welcomes us with open arms like an oasis in the desert.

Tempura, you are a magnificent creation of environment and art, and my heart will always be with you!

「昔々ある所にそれはそれは美しいTempuraと呼ばれる島がありました」
沢山のSLで暮らす人たちがたった一つの自分だけの物語をここTempuraで綴って来ました。
或る人は壊れた心を癒しに、或る人は愛を分かち合う為に。
ある物語は幸せな終わりを迎え、可哀想に悲しい終わりを迎えた物語もありました。

it's my great pleasure to say congratulation on the TEMPURA 10th Anniversary!!

The golden passageway and dance halls are so luxurious, and much symbolic.
Many beautiful locations too, you know. But these are not all of
TEMPURA. I think the nature of TEMPURA is it's always filled with
love. The beauty and the love... especially the love is important.
Because we can feel "It's safe place for me and I can relieve here." I
think that this is the reason why TEMPURA has been constantly being
supported for as long as ten years.

I will send my gratitude and high respect to Kiku who continue to
create and maintain TEMPURA with great love from the bottom of my
heart. As well as Chikae and Polly who continue to support him. And

On May 25th, Tempura island celebrates its 10 year anniversary.
Kikunosuke, the owner of Tempura, and all staff have never imagined that Tempura could keep its popularity for such a long time.
Kikunosuke made a Jewelry shop, MANDALA, and has paid the management cost of the SIM for 10 years from the proceeds of the shop for all visitors from all over the world.  Fortunately, MANDALA jewelry is so popular and be loved by a lot of people in the world.
I'm grateful for your help from the bottom of my heart.
Your Tempura will last long into the future.

Dear tempura family ,

I know I am not here since long time now but i never forget you and your land.
I just come back now and i see all is same in tempura island...
Same landscape and same spirit...
Is not possible to stay cold in front this and is not possible to not keep nice memories about all my SL life with you all.

I have to say .. Tempura Island and the Tempura family have had a positive influence on my life and I will never thank you enough for that!

I wish a happy birthday to tempura island and to all the team that makes this earth a virtual paradise that influences the real heart of humans in a positive way.

a special thank you for Kiku the owner who keeps his creation intact, with which we are not lost when we return for inner peace.

私は長い間、留守にしていましたが、あなた方とこの島の事は決して忘れていません。
今、戻ってみると、テンプラは何も変わっていませんでした。

One shootout for my Tempura family and my forever friends: It’s interesting that special people don’t realize they are special at all. They are thoughtful without even thinking about it. They are always right there when you need. They share not expecting a thing in return. Yet always seem richer for giving… Our busy life might have kept our interaction at the lowest… However, we know this can never be an excuse to weaken the bond we have always been sharing. I am so lucky to have you at my side.
